• Clean the Feeding Opening Gently: Carefully remove milk residue from the round-cut opening without using sharp objects or forcing cleaning tools through the silicone.
• Protect the Air Ventilation System: Clean the ventilation area gently to prevent milk residue from obstructing airflow. Avoid excessive pulling or stretching that could damage the valve.
• Sterilise After Washing: Thoroughly wash the feeding nipples before sterilisation. Follow Pigeon's instructions for the chosen sterilisation method.
• Use Approved Sterilisation Methods: Pigeon identifies boiling, steam, chemical and UV sterilisation as suitable methods for these silicone nipples. Follow the relevant equipment and product instructions.

• Assemble Securely: Fit the nipple correctly into the compatible Pigeon SofTouch bottle collar and ensure it is properly seated before feeding.
• Check the Ventilation System: Ensure the nipple's air ventilation opening is unobstructed and functioning before each feeding session.
• Inspect Before Every Feed: Examine each silicone nipple for tears, weakness, deformation or other signs of deterioration. Replace immediately if damage is detected.

• Rotate Feeding Nipples: Pigeon recommends rotating two or more feeding nipples during the recommended period of use to help manage regular wear.
• Check Milk Temperature: Always check the temperature of milk before feeding. Do not heat breast milk or infant formula directly in a microwave because uneven heating can cause dangerous hot spots.
• Use Under Adult Supervision: Always supervise your baby during bottle feeding. Never use a feeding nipple as a pacifier or attach it to cords, ribbons or loose clothing accessories.
• Store Hygienically: Keep cleaned and sterilised nipples in a clean storage area, away from excessive heat and prolonged direct sunlight.
